  Humming in your Canton DM System can stem from several factors. It might be due to long signal lines from the source device; try using a shorter signal line. The signal line may not be fault-protected or the protection is damaged; in that case, replace it with a fault-protected line. A ground loop could also be the culprit, particularly if devices are plugged into separate sockets; plug all devices into a multiple socket output using safety plugs. Finally, interference from another appliance without suppression could cause humming; try switching off potential sources of interference or connecting them to a different circuit. Consider using a "ferrite common mode filter" or turning the power plug to reduce ripple voltage.

Check the connection of the source device to the DM System, and replace the cable if necessary.
