INSTRUCTIONS SHEET
Dear Consumer, thank you for having
chosen our product. This accessory has
been designed, constructed and tested
carefully, in compliance with all the
stringent standards in force.Please read
the following information carefully for
your safety and that of all travellers.
Preserve this booklet, specically, the
Installation Manual of your accessory in
your car. Read the Instruction Manual
carefully before assembling and tting
the accessory as well loading.Always
comply with the laws in force in the
country of use.
Installation
Install the accessory as indicated in the
accompanying instruction booklet. Do not
t or use the product if in doubt regarding
the assembly: in such cases, contact the
area dealer. Do not use and install the
product if any of its accessories is missing.
After mounting the accessory on the
vehicle, pull it and tighten it forcibly to
make sure it is secured properly. Repeat
this after positioning the load on the
accessory. Note. Take care to make sure
that when the product is tted, it does not
limit the working or damage antennas,
sun roofs, spoilers or anything else present
on the vehicle roof. Take care while
opening the door; take into consideration
the dimensions.
Notes for magnetic accessories
The magnetic accessory cannot be used on
vehicle roofs made of special metals such
as aluminium, stainless steel, breglass.
It cannot be mounted on roofs with
depressions, protuberances or ribbing or
those that have been touched up with
plaster or have been subjected to various
painting operations.In case of cars with
sun roof made of sheet metal, position
the accessory inside the roof perimeter,
bearing in mind not to operate it. Avoid
positioning the accessory on joints
between the xed part and mobile part
of the roof. Do not position the accessory
on vehicles where the front door glass
window is not guided.
Load and driving
Make sure the maximum load of the
vehicle can support the load weight due
to the accessory and the permitted load
of the accessory itself. Never exceed the
maximum permitted load for the car roof
and that of the accessory. Position the
load on the product in such a manner
that it does not project outside the vehicle
outline, making sure the centre of gravity
of the load is as low as possible. Position
the skis and snowboards with the tips
facing the back of the vehicle; do not cover
the load with parts which can increase the
aerodynamic resistance. Check to make
sure the skis do not come loose from the
front when the ttings are against the rear
accessory. Before starting the trip, make
sure everything is closed and secured
properly; during the trip, periodically
check the tightening of the belts, nuts
and bolts in general, as well as the load
holds. Repeat the operation at regular
intervals, depending on the type of road.

contact with the vehicle roof, aecting
its integrity. Installation of accessories on
the roof increases the height; take great
care in the presence of subways, garages,
tunnels, etc. After installation of carrier
devices and loading moderate the driving
during acceleration, braking and bends.
Specically, the eect of the wind, sudden
braking, narrow bends, bumps and holes
in the road will aect the driveability of
the vehicle. Reduce the speed according
to the local legal limits and never exceed
the 130 km/h limit. Check to make sure
the product is intact every time after
use. In order to reduce fuel consumption,
remove the product from the car when it
is not being used.
Notes for magnetic accessories
Persons tted with PACEMAKER are
advised to avoid bringing the magnets
near the apparatus.
Maintenance and storage
Over time, the belts, bolts, etc. subject
to wear, can get damaged and must
therefore be replaced. In case of accidental
fall of the accessory, check immediately to
make sure there is no damage such as
cracks, or visible dents that would aect
the correct working of the accessory. In
such cases, replace the damaged part or
the accessory. Remove the product before
washing the vehicle using automatic
systems. Notes for magnetic accessories.
The magnetic accessory must be left on
the vehicle roof only as long as it is being
used. If the product is left on the roof for
a very long time there is a possibility of
a change in the colour of the vehicle roof
or it may become impossible to detach
the accessory. If the car is left unguarded,
remove the accessory from the roof and
place it in the boot. Never bring the
magnetic accessory near other magnetic
appliances or parts as this will alter the
magnetism of the plates.
Responsibilities
You are entirely responsible for your safety
and that of others if your vehicle is being
used for transport. The manufacturer does
not assume any responsibility for possible
damage caused to objects or persons due
to incorrect assembly of the accessory,
or excessive speed or irregular driving.
Anyone else using your car with this
accessory installed on it must be informed
of these instructions. Do not modify or
tamper with the accessory in any case
whatsoever; the manufacturer shall not
accept liability for damage to objects or
persons.
