2. • Remove the allen key from its storage position. (the top opening)
• Insert the allen key into the bottom opening (marked in blue) and twist anti clockwise to open up the clamping area.
• Secure the position of the clamp then twist the allen key clock wise to tighten the clamp securely onto the roof rail.
3. • Remove the allen key from the bottom opening and insert it back into the storage location – top opening. (marked in blue)
• Twist the key anti clockwise and remove the key.
4. Always ensure that the mounting bracket is correctly connected (A) to the roof rail.
Incorrect connection (B & C) can lead to unstable loads, causing adanger to other road users.
5. AU- bolt or aT- bolt. (not included) are typically used when fi tting other roof top items onto your roof racks.
If using aT-bolt simply open the end cap, slide the T-Bolt into the cavity then close the end cap.
6. The load must be evenly distributed over the area of the carrier system (B), and the centre of gravity of the load kept as low as possible. Narrow
andheavy loads (eg: metal tubes) are to be carried near the feet of the carrier system. Loads which overhang the ends of the carrier system (C) must
conform to any relevant laws or by-laws in force, and must be adequately secured.
