The CAD-FMX500 is an FM Transmitter Phone Mount designed to provide a versatile and convenient solution for in-car entertainment and communication. It allows users to play music from their phone, TF card, or U-disk through their car's FM radio or via an AUX connection, and also facilitates hands-free phone calls and voice assistant activation.
Before using the CAD-FMX500, it is crucial to adhere to several safety guidelines to ensure proper operation and user safety. The device should be mounted in a location that does not obstruct the driver's view of the road. It should not be used near water and should only be cleaned with a dry cloth. Ventilation openings must not be blocked, and installation should follow the manufacturer's instructions. The device should be kept away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other heat-producing apparatus (including amplifiers). The power cord needs to be protected from being walked on or pinched, and it should not get tangled with gas or brake pedals. Only attachments and accessories specified by the manufacturer should be used. It is recommended to unplug the device during lightning storms or when it will be unused for long periods. All servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel, especially if the device has been damaged (e.g., damaged power-supply cord or plug, spilled liquid, fallen objects, exposure to rain or moisture, abnormal operation, or if it has been dropped).
The CAD-FMX500 (FCC ID: 2AMSOSTW001) complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Users are cautioned that any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the responsible party for compliance could void their authority to operate the equipment. This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. It generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed and used according to instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If the device causes harmful interference to radio or television reception, users are encouraged to try to correct the interference by reorienting or relocating the receiving antenna, increasing the separation between the equipment and receiver, connecting the equipment to an outlet on a different circuit, or consulting a dealer or experienced radio/TV technician. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) the device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

The CAD-FMX500 can be mounted using two methods:
To power on the device, connect one end of the supplied USB-Type C cable to the CAD-FMX500's Type C port and the other end to the supplied car power adapter. Plug the car power adapter into the car's DC power outlet. Upon powering on, "HI" will appear on the LED display, followed by "bt" flashing after 2 seconds, indicating it's ready for pairing.
To play music from a phone via Bluetooth:
When a call is received while music is playing, the device automatically switches to telephone mode.

Press the BASS button to switch between normal and bass sound modes. "H0" on the LED display indicates normal mode, while "H1" indicates bass mode.
Press and hold the multifunctional button for 2 seconds to activate Siri or Google Voice Assistant.
The device should be cleaned only with a dry cloth. For any servicing needs, especially if the device is damaged or not operating normally, it should be referred to qualified service personnel.
SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC provides a One Year Limited Warranty for the CAD-FMX500, covering defects in material or workmanship under normal, non-commercial use. The warranty period for both parts and labor is one year from the original purchase date. If a defective product is returned within this period, SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC will, at its option, repair or replace the product free of charge for parts and/or labor, excluding shipping charges which are the customer's responsibility. This warranty excludes defects resulting from neglect, misuse, accidents, improper application, violation of operating instructions, customer-induced damage, alteration or removal of serial numbers, modifications or repairs by unauthorized parties, damage due to power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, misconnection, cosmetic damage from normal wear and tear, shipping damage, damage from heat sources, sunlight, electromagnetic conditions, climatic conditions, or acts of God. The product is sold for personal, non-commercial use only and is not warranted for commercial or rental use. It is also not warranted against failure for applications where data breach risks exist or where data is relied upon for medical or lifesaving purposes. SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC disclaims all other warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement of third-party rights. The aggregate liability of SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC for any damages is limited to the cumulative product fees paid by the customer. To obtain warranty service, customers must email SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC Technical Support prior to returning the product. Returns must include a dated sales receipt, a detailed problem description, customer contact information, and a money order for return shipping charges (for US destinations only). International shipping charges will be borne by the customer. Returns should be in original packaging or equivalent protection. Processing claims may take 4 to 6 weeks (6 to 8 weeks from November to February).
The device bears a symbol indicating it should not be discarded as household waste. It should be delivered to an appropriate collection facility for recycling, following local rules for proper disposal to prevent negative environmental and human health consequences.
