Overview

This document describes the Cardinal Gates Retractable Gate (Model RETG), a safety product designed for children, pets, and homes.

Function Description:

The Cardinal Gates Retractable Gate is a safety barrier intended for indoor use, specifically recommended for children aged 6 to 24 months. Its primary function is to create a secure barrier in doorways or other openings to prevent children or pets from accessing certain areas. The gate features a retractable design, allowing it to be expanded when needed and retracted into its housing when not in use, thus saving space and maintaining an open aesthetic. The gate operates by extending a mesh barrier from a housing unit and securing it into mounting brackets on the opposite wall. It includes a locking mechanism to ensure the gate remains securely in place when closed.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Openings: Suitable for openings from 0-55 inches (0-140 cm).
  • Recommended Age: For children aged 6 months to 24 months.
