What does a Line Isolation Monitor (LIM) alarm or error mean on CardioQuip Medical Equipment?
    • C
      claytonstewartSep 23, 2025
If you receive a Line Isolation Monitor (LIM) alarm or error on your CardioQuip Medical Equipment, contact the LIM vendor if the LIM is not rated for the power requirements and/or power factor of the MCH. If the LIM is properly rated, contact CardioQuip Service, as the issue may be due to excessive leakage current from the MCH.

What to do if there is no circulation on main water connections in CardioQuip Temperature Controller?
    • D
      Daniel RiveraAug 25, 2025
If there is no circulation on the main water connections of the CardioQuip Temperature Controller, first ensure the system is in RUN mode to activate the pump. Check that the Internal Recirculation Valve is set to the NORMAL position. Also, inspect the water tank for blockages by cleaning the mesh strainers at the bottom of the tank with a nylon brush. Examine the external tubing for any closed valves, kinks, bends, or other obstructions. Other possible causes include a pump wiring fault, or a faulty pump or pump circuitry.

What to do if CardioQuip Temperature Controller system water flow is inadequate?
    • E
      Edward StanleyAug 26, 2025
If the CardioQuip Temperature Controller system water flow is inadequate, place the system in PRIMING mode according to the operating instructions. Additionally, clean the mesh strainers at the bottom of the water tank with a nylon brush to remove any blockages. A blockage in the plumbing circuit may also be the cause, so have qualified service personnel inspect the internal tubing for kinks, bends, or other blockages. Another possible cause is a faulty pump or pump circuitry.

Why is my CardioQuip Temperature Controller system not cooling?
    • R
      rodriguezdeborahAug 27, 2025
If the CardioQuip Temperature Controller system will not cool, ensure there is an adequate supply of ice in the water tank, using ice made from sterile or 0.22-micron filtered water. Also, check if the water flow is inadequate. Finally, check if there is no water flow at the main water output.

Why doesn't water flow through the cold water tank in CardioQuip MCH-1000 Medical Equipment?
    • S
      sawyerjosephSep 15, 2025
If water does not flow through the cold water tank of your CardioQuip Medical Equipment, have qualified service personnel inspect the internal tubing for kinks, bends, or other blockage, as this could indicate a blockage in the plumbing circuit. Additionally, they should check for an open in the valve input wiring to ensure internal wiring continuity and inspect and lubricate the valve solenoid to address potential valve solenoid seizure. For a faulty valve or valve circuitry, contact CardioQuip Service.

What to do if CardioQuip Medical Equipment's touchscreen display is off but the main power switch lights up?
    • J
      Jon ToddSep 13, 2025
If the main power switch lights up, but the touchscreen display is off and the CardioQuip Medical Equipment system will not operate, have qualified service personnel inspect the internal wiring for disconnected plugs or loose wire connections, as this could be due to a disconnected DC Power Supply, or other loose internal wiring. If the wiring is intact, the issue may be a faulty DC Power Supply, in which case you should contact CardioQuip Service.
