This interface (code 3&280,') allows the control of the
fundamental parameters of the OEM humidifiers manufactured by Carel
(level and conductivity of the water in the cylinder, TAM sensor for
current absorption) directly from the pCO
2
microprocessor-based
electronic control. The values measured by the sensors are converted
into signals which can be read by the inputs on the pCO
2
electronic
board (for more information refer to the user manual for the application
program).

To safeguard operators and the cards, disconnect power before working on them.
Electrical damage may occur to the electronic components as a result of electrostatic discharges from the operator. Suitable
precautions must be therefore be taken when handling these components:
• before using any electronic component or card, ground yourself (not touching the card does not prevent a spike, as static
electricity can produce a 10000V spike discharge which can form an arc of about 1cm);
• all components must be kept inside their original package as long as possible. If necessary, take the main board from its
package and place it into an antistatic package without touching the back of the board with your hands;
• absolutely avoid non-antistatic plastic bags, polystyrene or sponges.
• absolutely avoid passing the card directly to other operators (to prevent from electrostatic induction and discharges).
