Overview

This document describes the User Manual for an Intelligent Remote Control Bait Boat, available in four configurations: A, B, C, and D. The manual outlines the boat's functions, technical specifications, and usage instructions, aiming to provide an extraordinary harvest and fun experience for users.

Function Description

The bait boat is designed for fishing, offering a range of intelligent features to assist anglers. Its primary functions include:

  • Remote Control and Navigation: The boat features an internal antenna for remote control, utilizing a 2.4GHz full digital duplex two-way wireless system. The remote control, equipped with an LCD, displays the boat's working status during sailing. It supports both manual sailing via a joystick and automatic sailing, guided by an electronic compass on both the boat and the remote control.
  • Bait and Hook Release: Users can remotely release bait and hooks, with visual and audible confirmations on the remote control.
  • Lighting Control: The boat's lights can be turned on or off remotely, including front and back lamps, which flash upon reaching a GPS destination or during bait/hook release.
  • Safety and Return Features: The boat is designed to automatically return to its departure point ("HOME") in cases of remote control battery outage or communication loss. It's crucial to set the "HOME" point to the nearest location to the operator for effective return.
  • GPS Navigation System: The boat is equipped with a GPS navigation system, allowing users to set and store up to 31 GPS points (1 "HOME" point and 30 destination points). It displays the current position and target point latitude and longitude in real-time and calculates the straight-line distance between the departure point and the destination. The boat can sail automatically between preset GPS locations.
  • Fish Finder: This feature provides real-time information on riverbed contours, water temperature, water depth, and fish presence. It includes an underwater automatic power switch, activating the fish finder only when the boat is in the water. An attracting fish lamp is integrated for night fishing.
  • Malfunction Self-Check: The remote control screen displays corresponding icons if the boat experiences a malfunction.
  • Air Upgrade: The boat and remote control software can be upgraded by downloading an APP to a computer, connecting the remote control via USB, and powering on both devices.

The boat configurations (A, B, C, D) vary in the inclusion of E-compass, GPS Navigation, and Fish Finder features. For example, Type A only has E-compass, Type B has E-compass and GPS Navigation, Type C has E-compass and Fish Finder, and Type D includes all three.

Usage Features

  • Remote Control Handset: The handset features an LCD screen displaying various boat statuses, including water depth, water temperature, GPS satellite count, fish information, riverbed contour, GPS settings, current and target point coordinates, boat status (STOP/MANUAL/AUTO/GPS), distances to HOME and target points, boat status indications, and relative position of the boat to the remote control.
  • Button Functions: The remote control has dedicated buttons for power/menu confirmation, menu navigation (up/down), LCD light control (on/off/intensity adjustment), warning tone control, operation interface switching (main/GPS), auto sailing (manual/automatic toggle), boat light control, hook release, bait hopper release, "SET" for GPS points, "ESC" for exiting GPS interface, and cursor movement for GPS point selection.
  • GPS Operation: To use GPS, users press the "Operation interface switching" button to enter the GPS interface. They can select and set 31 GPS locations using the "-/+" and "SET" buttons. Holding "SET" for 3 seconds removes a GPS location. The "GO" button initiates GPS navigation, and pressing it again exits GPS sailing.
  • Fish Finder Operation: The fish finder works only in water deeper than 2 meters. It indicates water depth in four levels (2-5m, 5-15m, 15-20m, 20-30m) and displays fish size (big, medium, small). Sensitivity can be adjusted (C1/C2/C3). Warning tones alert users to fish presence.
  • Menu Interface: The menu allows for calibration of boat and RC compasses, selection of boat battery type, and pairing mode.
    • Compass Calibration: Both boat and RC compasses can be calibrated through the menu. Boat calibration involves the boat turning automatically in water, while RC calibration requires turning the remote control 360 degrees and moving it up and down.
    • Battery Type Selection: Users can choose the appropriate boat battery type (Lead-acid or Lithium) from the menu.
    • Pairing Mode: This mode allows pairing the boat with the remote control. The boat's lights will flicker during pairing, and the interface will confirm success or failure.

Maintenance Features

  • Chargers: The manual details chargers for both the boat battery and the remote control handset. LED indicators on the charger show charging status (red for charging, green for fully charged).
    • Boat Charger: Batteries can be charged by removing them or the battery cover, connecting the charging conversion plug to the batteries and charger, then plugging into a power supply.
    • RC Handset Charger: The charging plug is inserted into the handset's USB interface, and the other end is connected to a power supply.
  • Solenoid Switch Maintenance: It is crucial to keep the bait hopper's solenoid switch clean, clearing any sand, mud, or other dirt to ensure its proper functionality.
  • Air Upgrade: The ability to upgrade software via a computer ensures the device can receive updates and improvements, enhancing its longevity and performance.

Safety Precautions and Notices

  • Weather Conditions: Avoid using the bait boat during stormy conditions, as the antenna can attract lightning.
  • Explosive Environments: Do not use the remote control handset near explosives.
  • Electromagnetic Interference: The electronic compass is sensitive to external environments; avoid using the boat near high-voltage cables, strong magnetic fields, or mining areas.
  • Antenna Position: Maintain an angle greater than 45 degrees between the remote control handset antenna and the ground, and keep the antenna in a high position for optimal signal strength.
  • Unauthorized Disassembly: Do not attempt to dismantle the boat or remote control handset. Any repairs should be handled by the supplier to avoid voiding warranties or causing further damage.
