Lincoln Instructions
Thank you for purchasing a Carr Lincoln amplifier. The Lincoln merges the crystalline
beauty of AC Top Boost style amps with the saturated insistence of modified high gain
British pre amps. You will find a huge range of tones and textures in the Lincoln.
Each channel has lush, ultra controllable reverb, channel switching convenience
with overdrive Boost on the foot switch, and an overall power amp attenuator.
The Lincoln is the essential amplifier for stage, studio, or home.

Channel 1
Volume – Adjusts the loudness and drive of the amplifier.
N/B (Normal/Bright)
– points up for warm balanced tone – down for Classic scooped clanky Voxy vibes –
Treble – Varies the top end from dark to bright. This control has more range than your
typical Treble control. At high settings it lends an almost acoustic guitar timber. At low
setting the mids are more pronounced and the sound is very round.
Bass – Varies the low end from lean to full. At full position the bass will scoop out the mids
as well as adding more low end. To retain clarity, turn the Bass down at higher volumes.
Reverb 1– Controls the amount of channel 1 reverb sound from none to deep and lush.
Channel 2
Drive – Adjusts the gain from semi clean to over the top overdrive! Low setting below 10
o’clock on the dial will offer clean tones. Higher setting bring more and more overdrive and
complexity to the harmonic content.
H/L (High/Low) toggle --- panel toggle defeated when foot switch plugged in
– points up for warm medium gain – down for cutting high saturation fun!
Tone – The Tone knob effect both thickness and brightness. At low settings it is dark and
chunky. At very high settings it scoops midrange and some gain while offering an open top
end. In between is a full spectrum of sonic shades between these two extremes.
Master – Sets the overall loudness level of channel 2.
Reverb 2– Controls the amount of channel 2 reverb sound from none to deep and lush.
Channel Switch Toggle between Reverb knobs and is defeated when foot pedal plugged in
