causing serious injury or death.
PROVIDE SIGNALS FOR JOBS INVOLVING
A NUMBER OF MACHINES
For jobs involving several machines, provide signals
commonly known by all personnel involved.
Also, appoint a signal person to co-ordinate the job site.
Make sure that all personnel obey the signal person’s
directions.
CONFIRM DIRECTION WHERE THE
MACHINE IS TO BE DRIVEN
Instinctive travel pedal operation may result in serious
injury and even death.
Before driving the machine, be aware of the undercar-
riage position relative to the operator’s seat.
If swinging/steering axle is located behind towards the
counterweight, the machine will move reverse when
control pedal is moved forwards.
