4. Check key-start switch:
If a fire breaks out, failure to stop the engine will
escalate the fire, hampering fire fighting.
Always check key-start switch function before oper-
ating the machine every day:
• start the engine and run it at slow idle;
• turn the start switch key to OFF, to confirm the
engine stops.
If any abnormalities are found, be sure to repair them
before operating the machine.
5. Check heat shields:
Damaged or missing heat shields may lead to fires.
Damaged or missing heat shields must be repaired
or replaced before operating the machine.
HANDLE CHEMICAL PRODUCTS SAFETY
Direct exposure to hazardous chemicals can cause
serious injury. Potentially hazardous chemicals used
with your machine include such items as lubricants,
coolants, paints, and adhesives.
A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) provides
specific details on chemical products: physical and
health hazards, safety procedures, and emergency
response techniques.
Check the MSDS before you start any job using a
hazardous chemical. That way you will know exactly
what the risks are and how to do the job safely.
Contact your Dealer for MSDS list of chemical prod-
ucts used on machine.
