Overview

This document describes the CASIO Operation Guide 3550, a digital watch with various timekeeping, alarm, and stopwatch functionalities.

Function Description:

The CASIO Operation Guide 3550 is a digital watch designed for everyday use, offering precise timekeeping along with several practical features. Its core function is to display the current time and date, which can be configured by the user. The watch supports both 12-hour and 24-hour timekeeping formats, and its full auto-calendar function ensures accurate date display from the year 2000 to 2099.

Beyond basic timekeeping, the watch includes an alarm function. Users can set a daily alarm that sounds for 20 seconds at a preset time. Additionally, it features an hourly time signal, which causes the watch to beep every hour on the hour. Both the daily alarm and hourly time signal can be independently enabled or disabled, providing flexibility for different user preferences. A test function is also available to check the alarm sound.

Another key feature is the stopwatch mode, which allows for precise measurement of elapsed time. The stopwatch can measure time in 1/100 second increments, making it suitable for tracking various activities. It supports standard stopwatch operations: start, stop, resume, and reset.

The watch also incorporates an LED light for illumination, ensuring readability in low-light conditions. This feature enhances the watch's usability across different environments.
