Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of
the
unit
and
remove
dead
batteries.
Install
new
ones
making
sure
the
+
and
—
terminals
are
facing
cor-
rectly.

advisable
to
replace
all
five
batteries
at
the
same
time
for
longer
battery
life.

Car battery adaptor:
With
the
optional
car
battery
adaptor
CA-1,
you
can
take
power
from
your
car
battery
via
a
cigarette
lighter
socket.

(optional) is required.
Use
only
an
adaptor
with
the
same
voltage
rating
(100,

240V)
as
your
power
supply
to
prevent
component
damage.
Plug
the
AC
adaptor
into
the
AC
outlet
and
the
cord
into
unit.
This
automatically
cuts
off
battery
power
supply.

When
batteries
are
not
used
for
a
long
period
of
time,
it
is
advisable
to
remove
them
from
the
bat-
tery
Compartment.
