error'
may
occur
when
reading
data

writing

cassette
tape.
This
occurs
if a
greater
number
of
external
files
than
the
preset
number
of
buffers
was
opened.
Since
the
number
of
buffers
is
set
to
O
after
a
RESET,
the
processing
of
a file
must
be
performed
after
reserving a file
buffer
by
executing
a
MOUNT
statement
in
direct
mode.
This
program
has
only
one
file
to
be
opened.
Hence,
the
'MOUNT
error'
problem
can
be
prevented
by
executing
MOUNT
1.
The
number
of
buffers
set
by
the
MOUNT
statement
is
retained
even
after
the
power
is
turned
off.
Note,
however,
that
executing
a
MOUNT
statement
erases all
current
variables,
requiring
re-inpu

the
appropriate
data.
