The Bolero Aguazero 6800 Stainless Steel is a household dishwasher designed for efficient and convenient dishwashing. This appliance is built to handle a capacity of 14 place settings, making it suitable for families. It operates within a power range of 1760-2100 W and is compatible with 220-240 V AC, 50 Hz electrical systems. The water pressure required for operation is between 0.04 and 1.0 MPa.
Function Description:
The dishwasher offers a variety of washing programs to suit different needs:
- Auto: This program automatically detects the soil level of dishes (lightly, normally, or heavily soiled, with or without dry food) and adjusts the wash cycle accordingly.
- Intensive: Designed for heavily soiled dishes, pots, pans, and moderately soiled items with dry food.
- Universal: Suitable for normally soiled loads, including pots, dishes, glasses, and lightly soiled pans.
- ECO: This is the standard program, optimized for normal soil levels and the most efficient in terms of combined energy and water consumption. It is used to assess compliance with EU eco-design legislation.
- Glass: A gentle program for lightly soiled tableware and glassware.
- 90 min: Ideal for normally soiled loads that require a quick wash.
- Rapid: A shorter wash program for lightly soiled loads that do not require drying.
- Soak: A pre-wash program for dishes that will be washed later, recommended for hand rinsing rather than using this program.
Additional functions include:
- Alt button: Activates or deactivates the upper and/or lower spray arms, allowing for targeted cleaning of specific baskets.
- Extra Drying (Secado +): Adds an extra drying phase to the Auto, Intensive, Universal, ECO, Glass, and 90 min programs.
- TurboSpeed: Reduces the duration of the selected program.
- Delay Start: Allows delaying the start of a program from 1 to 24 hours in 1-hour intervals.
The control panel features a power button, Alt button, function button, delay start button, program selection button, program indicators, Alt indicator, function indicator, warning indicator (for rinse aid and salt levels), washing phase indicator, and a display that shows remaining time, delay start, and error codes.

Usage Features:
Installation: The dishwasher requires a stable, level surface. It should be placed near a cold water tap, a water drain, and a grounded electrical outlet. A minimum 5 mm space is recommended between the top of the dishwasher and the cabinet. The water supply and drain hoses should not be crushed or bent. The door springs are factory-set but can be adjusted if needed.
Before First Use:
- Water Softener Adjustment: The dishwasher has a water softener that needs to be manually adjusted based on your local water hardness. A water hardness table is provided to guide this setting (H1-H6, default H3).
- Salt Compartment Filling: Use only special dishwasher salt. The salt compartment is located under the lower basket. It should be filled until almost full, and water added (only for the first use). The salt indicator light will turn off once filled, though it may remain on depending on salt dissolution.
- Loading Baskets: Dishes should be loaded securely to prevent overturning or overlapping. Larger, heavily soiled items go in the lower basket, while delicate and lighter items (glasses, cups, small dishes) go in the upper basket. Knives and sharp objects should be placed with the sharp end facing down in the cutlery tray.
- Detergent Filling: Use detergents specifically designed for dishwashers. The detergent dispenser has two compartments: a larger one for the main wash and a smaller one for pre-wash (for dirtier loads).
- Rinse Aid Filling: Use liquid rinse aid to promote drying without streaks. The rinse aid dispenser should be filled when the indicator light turns on. The rinse aid dosage can be adjusted for optimal drying results.
During Operation:
- Avoid opening the door during a cycle, especially when hot steam can cause burns. The machine has safety devices that stop operation if the door is opened.
- Dishes can be added before the detergent dispenser is activated by slightly opening the door to pause the cycle.
- After washing, the door will open automatically for better drying, except for Rapid and Soak programs.
Maintenance Features:
Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the dishwasher's longevity:
- Monthly Cleaning: Run a high-temperature program with an empty dishwasher and a dishwasher cleaning agent if necessary.
- Weekly Cleaning: Clean the filters and spray arms at least once a week. Remove any food residues or foreign objects from the coarse and fine filters and clean them under running water with a soft brush.
- Door and Gaskets: Clean regularly with a damp cloth to remove accumulated debris.
- Control Panel: Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Frost Protection: In winter, take measures to protect against frost by disconnecting power, turning off water supply, draining hoses and valves, and absorbing any remaining water from the sump.
- Long-Term Storage: If not used for a long time, run an empty wash cycle, then disconnect power, turn off water supply, and leave the door slightly ajar to preserve door gaskets and prevent odors.
Troubleshooting:
The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for common issues such as the dishwasher not turning on, water not draining, foam in the interior, stained interior, white film on surfaces, rust stains on cutlery, knocking noises, and dishes not drying or cleaning properly. It also lists error codes (E1, E3, E4, Ed) and their possible causes and solutions. For issues that cannot be resolved, contacting Cecotec's official Technical Support Service is recommended.
