3. BEFORE USE
• Read all instructions carefully before operating the appliance.
• Remove all packaging materials.
• Clean the plates with a soft, dampened cloth.
• Dry them with a cloth or paper towel.
• Slightly grease the non-stick baking plates with some oil or butter using an absorbent kit-
chen towel.
• Wipe off any excess oil.
WARNING: A slight odour and smoke might appear when heating the device for the first time.
This is due to manufacturing materials residues and does not affect the appliance’s operating.
4. OPERATION
• Select the plate to be used and introduce it in the lower and upper part of the product. Gent-
ly press in order to make sure that the plates are properly fixed.
• Close the appliance and plug it into a wall power supply. The power light and the ready light
will turn on indicating that the waffle maker is ON and that it has started preheating.
• After 5 minutes approximately, the ready light will turn off indicating that the plates have
reached the optimal baking temperature.
• Open the product and pour the dough which is going to be cooked into the lower plate.
• Close the product. The ready light will turn on again.
• Allow it to cook for 3-6 minutes, the ready light will turn off when the food is ready.
• Once the food is cooked, use the handle to open the lid and use a plastic spatula to remove it.
WARNING: do not use metal or sharp utensils to remove the food as these could damage the
non-stick coating.
• Once cooking is finished, unplug the product from the wall outlet, open the product and
allow it to cool down.
Removing plates
• Make sure the appliance is unplugged and allow it to cool down before removing any of the
plates.
• Open the product and press the release button located on the inside part of the upper
handle in order to remove the upper plate.
• Press the release button located on the inside part of lower part of the handle in order to
remove the lower plate.
