First use
- Pour water into the water tank, the water level should not exceed the “MAX” mark in the
tank. Close the water-tank cover.
- Connect the power cord of the coee machine to the power supply and press the power
button. The indicator light will turn on.
- Press the manual control button to activate the water pump. The water pump will
automatically start pumping water to the coee machine to heat it up.
- The machine will start heating up and the indicator light will start ashing until the
preheating process is over. Once the appliance has reached its optimal temperature, the
light will stop ashing.
- Press the button to prepare a single coee. Hot water will come out from the machine, use
the water to clean lters or cups.
3. OPERATION
Making coee
- Place the lter in the portalter.
- While the appliance is preheating, ll the lter with coee and use the tamper end of the
measuring spoon to press it down.
- Hold the portalter, insert the lter holder into the machine and place an empty cup on the
removable grille.
- Press the espresso button to brew 1 single espresso.
- Press the double espresso button to brew 1 double espresso.
These 2 previous functions can be customised. If you want to change the default coee
amount, do the following:
1. Press the single or double espresso button. Once you have obtained the desired amount
of drink, press the previous button again to stop the brewing process. Next time the
button is pressed, the machine will dispense the new saved amount.
2. Press the manual control button once to brew the desired amount of coee and press the
same button again to stop it.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance
out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other
packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when
transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all
packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any
piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service
immediately.
