• When food is heated in plastic or paper containers, watch the microwave in order to
avoid ignition hazard.
• The microwave oven is designed for heating drinks and food. Drying foods, clothes,
pillows, shoes, sponges and similar items could cause injury, ignition or fire risk.
• If smoke is observed from inside the microwave, stop or unplug the appliance and keep
its door closed until smoke disappears.
• Heating up drinks in the microwave could lead to cooking by ebullition, therefore pre-
caution must be taken during container handling.
• Baby bottles and food pots must be shaken or stirred, and temperature must be checked
before being consumed in order to avoid burnt.
• Eggs with shell or whole boiled eggs shall not be heated in the microwave as they could
explode, even after the heating process.
• The microwave must be cleaned regularly in order to remove every food waste.
• Improper microwave maintenance or cleaning could lead to surface deterioration, affect
