9THERMOSENSE 390 CLEAR
• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed while heating.
• Remove and replace the lid carefully when hot.
WARNING: you must be extremely cautious when moving the kettle containing hot water. Never lift the
kettle by its lid. Always use the body handle.
• Never switch on your kettle when its empty.
• Do not use the base unit for other purposes.
• To avoid the steam scalding your hands, do not open the lid while water is boiling or in the short time
before and after.
WARNING: please avoid the liquid sprinkle in the LCD board and the pressed key place in the operating
process. The water may cause damage to the display.
3. BEFORE USE
Before use the machine for the rst time, water should be boiled in it twice without any additives. Discard
the water after.
• The kettle should always be unplugged when lling or adding water.
• Fill the kettle with water to desired level. Do not overll. Use the water level indicator. You can ll via
the spout or opening the lid.
WARNING: do not forget to close the lid properly after lling, otherwise the kettle will not automatically stop
after boiling.
• Do not ll with less than 0,5L of water. Always from the min. mark to prevent the kettle running dry
while operating.
• Do not ll with more than 1,7L of water. Always to the max. indicator.
• An automatic safety system has been installed for protection against overheating. It will be efcient if the
kettle is switched on with insufcient water. If the safety system activates, disconnect the from the power
outlet and allow the kettle to cool down for 5 or 10 minutes. Rell the kettle and it will work normally.
• After boiling the machine switches off automatically.
• Disconnect the kettle from the power supply.
• Do not open the lid when pouring.
• If the kettle is overlled, boiling water may be ejected.
4. OPERATION
• Press the button, you will hear a sound and a red light will turn on. The product will start running.
The water will boil, the indicator will turn off and you will hear a sound at the same time.
PURE FUNCTION:
• Press the
button, you will hear a sound and the product will start running. Then press the button
to start the purication of the water. This function allows to keep the microbiological quality of water
by submitting water to a primary disinfection with a high temperature for 3 minutes. When the water
boils during the set time, you will hear a sound and the process of purication of the water is nished.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL:
• Press the start button
one time to boil water or press the button to select the temperature:
• 60 ºC: the LED light turns green.
• 70 ºC: the LED light turns blue.
• 80 ºC: the LED light turns yellow.
• 90 ºC: the LED light turns purple.
HEAT INSULATION FUNCTION:
• Press the start button
for 2 seconds, the kettle is under heat insulation function with red LED light
twinkling. When the water boils, the kettle keeps its temperature for 2 hours. During this period of
time, if the temperature drops to less than 85 ºC, the kettle will heat to keep it warmer.
• Press the start button
for 2 seconds and press the button to 4 times depending on the
temperature you want to select. A light will twinkle in its corresponding colour according to the
