Overview
Testthecoolingunittomakesureitisworkingproperlybeforeinstallingthecoolingunit(referto
theinstructionsatthebeginningofthepreviouschapter.)
CellarPro cooling units are designed to maintain optimal conditions for wine storage and aging.
Theseconditionsincludesteady,cooltemperatures,highhumidity,minimalvibrationandlight,and
cleanair.
ThesettingsonyourCellarProcoolingunithavebeenpresetandoptimizedbythefactory.Before
changinganysettingsbelow,werecommendwaiting14daystoallowthecoolingunitto“breakin.”
Thecoolingunitisdesignedtocoolthecellargentlywithoutstrippingmoistureoutofthecellar
environment.Therefore,itisnotuncommonforthecoolingunittorunnonstopforuptoaweek
initially,dependingonthetemperatureinsidethecellar,thesizeofthecellar,andthetemperature
oftheambientenvironment.Oncethecellarhasreachedequilibrium,itisnormalforthecooling
unittorunasmuchas75percentofthetime.
CellarProcoolingunitsaredesignedtomaintainoptimaltemperaturesforstoringandagingfine
wine.CellarProcoolingunitsarenotdesignedtomaintaintemperaturesforservingwine,which
tendtobemuchcolderthanstoragetemperatures,especiallyservingtemperaturesforwhiteand
sparklingwines.
CellarProcoolingunitsmustbeused,stored,movedand/orshippedintheuprightposition.Be
carefulwhenturningtheunitonitsside.TheunitNEVERshouldbeturnedupsidedown.
The cooling system is programmed with a 3‐Minute Delay at Startup to protect its internal
components.
TemperatureControl
CellarPro cooling units are designed to turn “on” when the air temperature passing over the
evaporator coils inside the cellar exceeds the Minimum Set Point plus the Temperature
Differential, and turn “off” when the temperature drops below the Minimum Set Point. For
