Usage Features
Before First Use:
Upon unpacking, the cooker should be allowed to acclimatize to room temperature for at least 2 hours, especially if it has been transported or stored in cold conditions. The power cord should be fully unwound, and the appliance body wiped with a damp cloth. Before connecting to the power supply, inspect the device for any external damage. The cooker must be placed on a flat, hard, dry, non-metallic surface, away from heat sources and open flames. Ensure a minimum clearance of 10 cm from walls or other objects for proper ventilation.
Cookware Selection:
Only induction-compatible cookware with a bottom diameter between 12 cm and 22 cm should be used. Look for the manufacturer's corresponding marking. To check compatibility, a magnet can be used: if it sticks to the bottom of the cookware, it is suitable.
Unsuitable cookware includes:
- Cookware made entirely of stainless steel, aluminum, or copper without a magnetic base.
- Glass, wooden, porcelain, ceramic, or earthenware cookware.
- Cookware with uneven edges or a curved bottom.
The bottom of the cookware should be smooth, flat against the glass surface, and match the size of the induction heating zone. Always center the cookware on the heating zone and lift it when moving to avoid scratching the glass surface.
Operation:
- Connect the appliance to the power supply.
- Place suitable cookware in the center of the heating zone. Ensure the cookware bottom and the cooker surface are clean and dry.
- Turn on the appliance by pressing the "On/Off" button. The display will show "ON."
- Select the desired program. The appliance will begin operation.
- To change the power, press the "Power" button and then the "-" or "+" buttons.
- The appliance will turn off automatically after the program's set time.
- To adjust the cooking time, use the "Timer" function.
- The appliance can be turned off manually by pressing the "On/Off" button.
Important Notes During Use:
- The surface of the hob heats up during operation. Avoid water, grease, or other liquids spilling onto the hot glass.
- A humming sound may be audible during induction cooker operation; this is not a sign of malfunction.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces can be high during operation. Exercise caution and avoid touching hot surfaces.
- Do not heat food or liquids in hermetically sealed containers, as they may explode.
- After cooking, wipe the surface with a dry or damp cloth to remove grease and food residues, as grease drops can cause smoke and fire.
- Cookware can be very hot after cooking. Use oven mitts or pot holders to remove cookware. Be careful when opening lids due to hot steam.
- Do not place metal objects (knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans, aluminum foil) on the hob, as they may heat up.
- Do not use the appliance on carpets, tablecloths (vinyl), or other similar surfaces.
- Do not place paper between the cookware and the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance if the hob surface is cracked or broken.
- The appliance is not designed to operate from an external timer or a separate remote control system.
- Use the appliance only with the appropriate connector.
Maintenance Features
