When the speed control is released to the neutral position or when the travel di-
rection changes, the motor brake is automatically applied. The amount of motor
braking is programmable.
Benet
This makes truck travel more gentle and reduces brake plate wear. For example,
when handling fragile goods, braking can be set to extremely gentle.
Feature
During normal truck travel when the motor is used to brake the truck, energy is
regenerated and returned to the battery every time the truck brakes. By converting
kinetic energy this way, the motor is basically used as a generator.
Benet
Regeneration of kinetic energy makes the truck more energy efcient.
