Battery compartment
There are three different battery compartment types:
The standard compartment with vertical battery
replacement. This compartment is available in three
sizes: small, medium and large.
A compartment with sideways battery replace-
ment, relying on rollers at the bottom of the battery
compartment. It is only available for the large bat-
tery. The height to the rollers is 215 mm.
A unique battery compartment on the S208L to
accommodate a two-piece battery with vertical bat-
tery change.

ment sizes for the various trucks models, please refer
to the Technical information chapter and the initial
chapter in this guide.
Feature
Selection of different battery compartment sizes is
possible (not applicable to S208L). For the larger
truck models, battery change to the side is also a pos-
sible option (from S212 and up).
Benet
The truck can be optimised for the intended applica-
tion. For high-intensive applications, sideways bat-
tery replacement is a recommended option.

All S200-models have a sloping power unit.
Benet
This way, the operator has an excellent view in the
fork direction.
