This
section
contains
factory-recommended
procedures
for
proper
ground
handling
and
routine
care
and
servicing
of
your
Cessna.
It
also
identifies
certain
inspection
and
maintenance
requirements
which
must
be
followed
if
your
airplane
is
to
retain
that
new-plane
performance
and
dependability.
It
is
wise
to
follow
a
planned
schedule
of
lubrication
and
preventive
maintenance
based
on
climatic
and
flying
conditions
encoun-
tered
in
your
locality.
Keep
in
touch
with
your
Cessna
Dealer
and
take
advantage
of
his
knowledge
and
experience.
He
knows
your
airplane
and
how
to
maintain
it.
He
will
remind
you
when
lubrications
and
oil
changes
are
necessary,
and
about
other
seasonal
and
periodic
services.
IDENTIFICATION
PLATE
All
correspondence
regarding
your
airplane
should
include
the
SE-
RIAL
NUMBER.
The
Serial
Number,
Model
Number,
Production
Certifi-
cate
Number
(PC)
and
Type
Certificate
Number
(TC)
can
be
found
on
the
Identification
Plate,
located
on
the
cabin
floor
below
the
left
rear
corner
of
the
pilot's
seat.
The
plate
is
accessible
by
sliding
the
seat
forward
and
lifting
the
carpet
in
this
area.
Located
adjacent
to
the
Identification
Plate
is
a
Finish
and
Trim
Plate
which
contains
a
code
describing
the
interior
color
scheme
and
exterior
paint
combination
of
the
airplane.
Thl;l
code
may
be
used
in
conjunction
with
an
applicable
Parts
Catalog
if
finish
and
trim
information
is
needed.
OWNER
FOLLOW-UP
SYSTEM
Your
Cessna
Dealer
has
an
Owner
Follow-Up
System
to
notify
you
when
he
receives
information
that
applies
to
your
Cessna.
In
addition,
if
you
wish,
you
may
choose
to
receive
similar
notification,
in
the
form
of
Service
Letters,
directly
from
the
Cessna
Customer
Services
Department.
A
subscription
form
is
supplied
in
your
Customer
Care
Program
book
for
your
use,
should
you
choose
to
