If
you
take
deli
very
from
your
Dealer,
the
initial
inspection
will
have
been
performed
before
delivery
of
the
airplane
to
you.
If
you
pick
up
your
airplane
at
the
factory,
plan
to
take
it
to
your
Dealer
reasonably
soon
after
you
take
deli
very,
so
the
initial
inspection
may
be
performed
allowing
the
Dealer
to
make
any
minor
adjustments
which
may
be
necessary.
You
will
also
want
to
return
to
your
Dealer
either
for
your
first
Progressive
Care
Operation,
or
at
100
hours
for
your
first
100-hour
inspection
depending
on
which
program
you
choose
to
establish
for
your
airplane.
While
these
important
inspections
will
be
performed
for
you
by
any
Cessna
Dealer,
in
most
cases
you
will
prefer
to
have
the
Dealer
from
whom
you
purchased
the
airplane
accomplish
this
work.
PILOT
CONDUCTED
PREVENTIVE
MAINTENANCE
A
certified
pilot
who
owns
or
operates
an
airplane
not
used
as
an
air
carrier
is
authorized
by
FAR
Part
43
to
perform
limited
maintenance
on
his
airplane.
Refer
to
FAR
Part
43
for
a
list
of
the
specific
maintenance
operations
which
are
allowed.
NOTE
Pilots
operating
airplanes
of
other
than
U.S.
registry
should
refer
to
the
regulations
of
the
country
of
certifica-
tion
for
information
on
preventive
maintenance
that
may
be
performed
by
pilots.
A
Service
Manual
should
be
obtained
prior
to
performing
any
preven-
tive
maintenance
to
ensure
that
proper
procedures
are
followed.
Your
Cessna
Dealer
should
be
contacted
for
further
information
or
for
required
maintenance
which
must
be
accomplished
by
appropriately
licensed
personnel.

OR REPAIRS
It
is
essential
that
the
FAA
be
contacted
prior
to
any
alterations
on
the
airplane
to
ensure
that
airworthiness
of
the
airplane
is
not
violated.
Alterations
or
repairs
to
the
airplane
must
be
accomplished
by
licensed
personnel.
GROUND
HANDLING
TOWING
The
airplane
is
most
easily
and
safely
maneuvered
by
hand
with
the
tow-bar
attached
to
the
nose
wheel.
When
towing
with
a
vehicle,
do
not
