When taxiing,
it

important
that
speed
and
use
of brakes
be
held
to
a minimum and that
all
controls
be
utilized

Taxiing Diagram,

2-4) to maintain
directional
control
and
balance.

knob should be pushed full in
during
all
ground-operations
unless
heat
is
absolutely
necessary.

the
knob

overheating
during
prolonged
engine
operation on the.ground. Also, long
periods
of idling may cause
fouled
spar){ plugs.
MAGNETO
CHECK.
The magneto check should be made
at
1700
RPM
as
follows.
Move
