both the oil suction strainer
and oil pressure
screen.
On the airplanes
which have an optional
oil
filter,
the oil
change interval
may
be extended
to
100-hour
intervals
providing
the
oil
filter
element
is
changed at
50-hour
intervals. Change engine oil at least
every four months
even
though
less
than 50 hours have
accumulated. Reduce
intervals for
prolonged
operation in dusty
areas,
cold
climates,
or
when short flights
and
long
idle periods
result
in
sludging
conditions.

Clean

extremely
dusty
conditions,
daily
maintenance
of the filter is
recommended.
