AFT BULKHEAD CLOSET - MAINTENANCE
1. General
A. The aft bulkhead closet is located in extreme aft portion of cabin. The aft bulkhead closet is built in three
sections that are separated during removal/installation. It is necessary to first remove the mirror/veneer
cover panels before closet can be split. To remove closet, it will be necessary to first remove passenger
seats, side-facing seat, psu fascias, aft dividers, toilet fascia and upholstery, and vanity.
2. Aft Closet Removal/Installation
A. Remove Closet.
CAUTION: Disconnect battery and remove power.
Verify appropriate circuit breaker is disengaged before performing maintenance on any
electrical components or wiring.
Secure and protect electrical wires to prevent fraying.
Ensure electrical wiring is not crushed/pinched during removal/installation.
(1) Disconnect battery and remove external power from aircraft.
(2) Turn off L BATT, R BATT and INTERIOR electrical switches, located in Electrical panel on pilot side of
instrument panel. Electrical panel is located just right of pilots yoke and left of center console on the
lower portion of instrument panel.
(3) Disengage CB101V A/V SHIPSIDE, CB100V A/V COMPARTMENT, CB113V AFT CLOSET,
CB108V AFT VANITY, CB111V DRAIN HEATERS, CB114V VANITY INDIRECT LIGHTS,
CB110V TOILET, CB118V TOILET SERVICE PANEL, CB107V, LH PATH LIGHTS, RH PATH LIGHTS,
CB102V UPWASH INDIRECT LIGHTS and CB103V DOWNWASH INDIRECT LIGHTS circuit breakers,
located in Interior J-box. The Interior J-box is located in bottom of aft bulkhead closet on right-hand
side. Lift latch and remove access panel, which is held in place with latch and magnets, to access
J-box cover. With access panel removed, press J-box cover latch to release latch and open J-box
cover. Pull breakers to disengage.
(4) Remove passenger seats.
(5) Remove cabin and lavatory PSU fascias.
(6) Remove aft dividers.
(7) Remove aft vanity.
(8) Remove toilet fascia and upholstery.
(9) Remove vanity switch bezel.
(10) The electrical outlet is removed to allow cover panels to be removed. Remove four (4) screws that
secure electrical outlet wire closeout and remove closeout. Remove four (4) screws that secure
access panel in bottom of center section of closet and remove panel to access electrical outlet
disconnect. Disconnect electrical outlet from relay box and tag wires for reinstallation. Remove
four (4) nuts securing outlet to bracket and remove outlet. Tag nuts and screws for reinstallation.
(11) Remove door stay from closet door. Tag screws for reinstallation.
(12) Press hinge release button on each of the four (4) door hinges and remove door from hinges. Remove
door from aircraft.
(13) Mirror/veneer cover panels must be removed to gain access to screws that secure left and right closet
sections to center section. Remove screws from inside bulkhead closet. The cover panel below door
is held in place with two (2) screws that are accessed from outside closet. The top cover panel is
held in place with three (3) screws. Left-hand cover panel is held in place with seven (7) screws. The
right-hand cover panel is held in place with eight (8) screws. The door cover panel does not need to
be removed (will be removed with door). Remove cover panels and remove from aircraft. Take care
not to damage panels or surroundings. Tag screws for reinstallation.
