Cessnahasdeterminedthatsomeairplaneshavebeendeliveredwithoneormoreoftheeightpropeller
mountingboltwashersinstalledwiththechamferedsidefacingthemountingflange.
DESCRIPTION
CAL-61-02providespartsandinstructionstodoaninspectionofthepropellermountingboltwashersto
makesurethattheyareinstalledcorrectly.Iftheyarenotinstalledcorrectly,theboltsandwashersare
discarded,andnewonesareinstalledwiththechamferedsideofthewasherfacingthebolthead.
COMPLIANCE
Mandatory:Thisservicelettershallbeaccomplishedwithinthenext50hoursofoperation.
LABORHOURS
4.0man-hourstoaccomplishthisserviceletter.
WARRANTY
Forallairplanesidentifiedwithintheserialeffectivity:
Applicablepartscreditandalaborallowancecreditof4.0man-hoursperairplanewillbeprovidedto
accomplishthisserviceletter.
Freightwillbecreditedatthemosteconomicalmethodunlesspre-approvedbyCessna.
Toreceivecredit,theworkmustbecompletedandawarrantyclaimsubmittedbyaCessnaCaravan
orPropjetAuthorizedServiceFacilitywithin30calendardaysofservicelettercompliancebeforethe
creditexpirationdatesshownbelow.
