- Let the soldering iron, safety holder for the soldering iron and the whole device cool down
completely to the room temperature before you store it away safely.
Cleaning and maintenance:
Before cleaning each time switch off the soldering station and disconnect the plug! Clean the
device solely after it has cooled down with a dry cloth.
After a longer working period it is possible that scaling might occur on the soldering tip. You
can remove it by using a fine metal brush or fine sandpaper after the device has cooled down.
The service-time of a soldering tip is longer if you tin it anew after each cleaning.
Warranty:
To claim the warranty the receipt for payment is absolutely necessary. All wear parts (e.g.
soldering tip) are excluded from the warranty. All other costs as working time, transport, freight
and packaging go at the expense of the buyer in a case of a warranty claim. CFH reserves
the right either to carry itself the expenses which might arise, or to pass them to the buyer.
The warranty does not include errors or operational difficulties occurring through willful damage,
misuse, alterations, misapplication, careless use, wear, wrong assembly or not correct
maintenance.
Disposal:
The Soldering station is mainly produced from recyclable materials. This product should not
be disposed of at the end of its service life through the domestic waste. Please bring in future
all electric and electronic devices to collecting points which are locally provided.
