4.1 Installation options with boiler products
Type 1
Replacement of the gateway in a basic heating system
with RC and RD activated (Fig. 1)
Cha oteaux basic heating system equipped with BUS protocol, in which the user
wishes to replace the gateway to enable the Cha olink Remote Control and Remote
Assistance services.
Required operations:
- Install the gateway by connecting it to the heating system via the BUS connection

Activation of RD alone in a basic heating system (Fig. 2) .
Cha oteaux basic heating system equipped with BUS protocol, in which the user
wishes to activate Remote Assistance alone, without installing the Cha oteaux Expert
Control accessory.
Actions required (fi g.3):
In this confi guration, any ON/OFF temperature regulation accessory already present
in the house can be left installed. Therefore it is only necessary to:
- Install the gateway, connecting it to the heating product via the BridgeNet BUS
connection.
