Why Champion Trimmer engine does not start?
    • K
      Kristi FrancisAug 4, 2025
If your Champion Trimmer engine won't start, several factors could be at play. It might be due to a fuel mixture that is too rich, in which case you should try opening the choke. Alternatively, the fuel strainer or fuel line could be clogged, requiring cleaning. If the engine is flooded, allow it to sit for 15 minutes, or remove and clean the spark plug. Finally, an incorrect spark plug gap can prevent starting, so replace or adjust the spark plug as per the instructions.

How to prevent grass from wrapping around Champion Trimmer drive shaft housing?
    • W
      William KingAug 19, 2025
If grass wraps around the drive shaft housing and string head of your Champion Trimmer, it could be because you are cutting tall grass at ground level. To prevent this, cut tall grass from the top down. Also, operating the trimmer at part throttle can cause wrapping, so operate the trimmer at full throttle.
