Why won't the pilot light on my Charmglow 200605 Patio Heater?
    • D
      david52Jul 30, 2025
Several factors can prevent the pilot light from igniting. The tank valve might be closed, so ensure it's open. There could be a blockage in the orifice or pilot tube, requiring cleaning or replacement. Air in the gas line can also be the culprit; bleed the gas line (pressing the control knob in) for no more than 1-2 minutes or until you smell gas. Low gas pressure, even with a fully open tank valve, necessitates turning the tank valve off and replacing the tank. Lastly, a failed igniter would prevent ignition; use a match to light the pilot and replace the igniter.

What to do if the burner flame is low on my Charmglow Patio Heater?
    • A
      Audrey AllisonAug 4, 2025
A low burner flame can result from several issues. Low gas pressure is a common cause, so turn the tank valve OFF and replace the tank. If the outdoor temperature is below 40ºF and the tank is less than 1/4 full, use a full tank. Inspect the supply hose for bends or kinks and straighten it if necessary. Also, if the control knob is fully ON, check the burner and orifices for any blockage.

What to do if the pilot won’t stay lit on my Charmglow 200605 Patio Heater?
    • K
      Kayla WilliamsAug 8, 2025
If the pilot light won't stay lit, it could be due to dirt buildup around the pilot, which requires cleaning. A loose connection between the gas valve and pilot assembly might also be the problem; tighten the connection and perform a leak check. Alternatively, the thermocouple may not be operating correctly and needs replacement.

      Mark JacksonAug 12, 2025
If the burner won't light, check if the gas pressure is low. If so, turn the tank valve OFF and replace the tank. Also, check for any blockage in the orifice and clear it. Make sure that the control knob is turned to the ON position.

Why does my Charmglow Patio Heater emitter glow unevenly?
    • K
      Kyle LucasAug 16, 2025
An uneven glow from the emitter can be caused by several factors. Low gas pressure is a possibility, so turn the tank valve OFF and replace the tank. Ensure the base is on a level surface; if not, place the heater on a level surface. If the heater is already level, try cleaning the burner.
