Inspect pump for transit damage and contact distributor if damaged. File claim with carrier.
Clean suction lines and containers to remove debris. Use appropriate filters for particulate matter.
Connect supply gas (air or natural gas) at 50-150 PSIG. Ensure gas is clean and dry in cold climates.
Use calibration gauge to set pump speed, measure volume using readings and duration for accurate output.
Lubricate motor end with specified oils to minimize friction, flush debris, and extend pump life.
Check for clogged suction check valve, lost prime, relocated checks, or obstructed chemical entry.
Verify sufficient air/gas supply pressure and check for clogged/gummed-up switching valve, or worn seals.
Ensure stable supply pressure. Fluctuations may require a regulator.
Check for worn packing, chemical attack on elastomer/plunger, or abrasives in the chemical.
