12. Do not attempt to plug any device other than designated Kettle
into the base unit.
13. Do not place base or Kettle on or near hot gas or electric burner
or in a heated oven.
14. Do not operate Kettle unless lid is fully closed.
15. Never fill Kettle while it rests on the base unit.
16. Do not turn power “ON” unless Kettle contains sucient water.
17. CAUTION: Unplug IMMEDIATELY if water spills onto bottom
of Kettle, onto Kettle base or into connector, to avoid
electrical shock.
18. CAUTION: Avoid the risk of being scalded. Hot or boiling water
and steam can cause serious burns. Extreme caution must be
used when moving an appliance containing hot water or other
hot liquids. Never fill kettle above the lower edge of the spout.
Open the lid carefully when the water is boiling. Always pour
slowly and carefully.
