BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all packing materials and stickers from the brewer
(except for the rating label).
2. Gently wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth or paper towel.
Never immerse the brewer, its base, cord, or plug in water or any
other liquid.
3. Rinse the coee filter with water. Wash the capsule receptacle
and water reservoir with a sponge and warm, soapy water.
Dry completely.
4. To rinse the unit’s internal parts of any manufacturing residue,
“brew” a plain, 12-oz cup of hot water with NO coee. To do so,
use the instructions that follow, but insert the empty capsule
receptacle and select the 12 oz brew button.
