Getting Started
• Remove all of the packaging materials from the appliance.
• Place the packaging materials back inside of the box and either store or
safely dispose.
• Before each use, unwind the power cord completely.
• CAUTION: If water is added during cooking, do not pour it over the grill
plate or on top of the heating element.
• Plug the grill into your home outlet.
• The indicator light will go on indicating that the grill is powered on. As
soon as you move the temperature control dial away from the off setting
the appliance will start to become hot. When the temperature control dial
is turned clockwise from the off to the on setting the grill top increases in
temperature from low to high.
Note: Using an extension cord with this product is not recommended.
However, if necessary, ensure that the extension cord is grounded. The
extension cord must be secured safely so that it is not a tripping hazard.
Preheating
• Preheat the grill for approximately 5 - 10 minutes before use.
• Turn the temperature control dial to the Maximum Temperature position.
Maximum is the on setting.
