Usage Features

Before First Use:

Prior to initial use, it is crucial to wash the jug and blender blade thoroughly with soapy water and rinse them. The water tank should also be filled with tap water, rinsed, and then emptied. For sterilization, it is recommended to steam the empty jug for 15 minutes.

Filling the Water Tank:

To fill the water tank, turn the water tank cover counterclockwise towards the open padlock symbol. Pour 230ml of drinking water up to the MAX line. Using pre-boiled water is advised to reduce the frequency of descaling. After filling, replace the water tank cover and turn it clockwise towards the locked padlock symbol to secure it. Ensure the cap is properly locked before operating the appliance.

Steam and Blend:

  1. Preparation: First, arrange the blade inside the jug, ensuring the knife hole is properly attached to the rotor. Place food ingredients into the jug, making sure not to exceed the MAX limit.
  2. Lid Placement: Put the lid on, aligning the lid handle with the jug handle. Lock the lid by pushing it to the right.
  3. Jug Placement: Place the jug onto the main machine, positioning the jug handle close to the engine lock. Lock the jug to the machine by pulling the jug handle clockwise.
  4. Steaming: Turn the dial to the right to set the desired steaming duration. After the steaming cycle is complete, press the dial inward to initiate blending. The maximum combined food and water capacity for the jug is 700ml.
    • Important Note: The machine will only operate when the jug is correctly positioned. Never run a steaming cycle if blended food is already in the jug, as this can damage the unit. After steaming, some water will remain at the bottom of the jug; this water contains vitamins and nutrients and can be kept for a thinner consistency or partially emptied for a thicker puree.

Blend Only:

  1. Preparation: Insert the blade into the jug, ensuring it's properly attached to the rotor. Add food ingredients to the jug, not exceeding the MAX limit. Add distilled water as needed to achieve the desired puree consistency.
  2. Lid Placement: Place the lid on, aligning the lid handle with the jug handle. Lock the lid by pushing it to the right.
  3. Jug Placement: Position the jug on the machine, with the jug handle close to the engine lock. Lock the jug to the machine by pulling the jug handle clockwise.
  4. Blending: Push the dial inward. The machine will blend as long as the dial is pushed. Blending will stop when the dial is released. The maximum combined food and water capacity is 700ml.
    • Limitation: This machine is not designed to blend hard foods like nuts.

Defrost and Warm Bottles/Food:

  1. Water Tank: Fill the water tank as described in the "Filling the Water Tank" section.
  2. Setup: Arrange the rack inside the jug. Place the food container or baby bottle on the rack.
  3. Lid and Jug Placement: Put the lid on, aligning the lid handle with the jug handle, and lock it by pushing to the right. Place the jug on the machine, positioning the jug handle close to the engine lock, and lock it by pulling the jug handle clockwise.
  4. Operation: Turn the dial to 5 minutes for quick warming or defrosting. For longer defrosting or warming times, adjust the dial up to 30 minutes.
    • Safety: Ensure the jug is correctly positioned on the machine for operation. Food must be placed inside a container or pouch on the rack when defrosting.

Sterilize:

  1. Water Tank: Fill the water tank as described in the "Filling the Water Tank" section.
  2. Setup: Remove the blade unit from the jug. Place bottles and accessories inside the jug.
  3. Lid and Jug Placement: Put the lid on, aligning the lid handle with the jug handle, and lock it by pushing to the right. Place the jug on the machine, positioning the jug handle close to the engine lock, and lock it by pulling the jug handle clockwise.
  4. Operation: Turn the dial to 10 minutes for sterilization.
    • Safety: Ensure the jug is correctly positioned on the machine for operation.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning Jug and Blade:

  1. Opening: Open the jug lid by following the direction shown in Figure 1 of the manual.
  2. Blade Cleaning: Remove the blade from the jug. The inside of the blade's funnel can be cleaned with a small brush and rinsed under running water.
  3. Rotor Cleaning: To clean the rotor, hold the rotor from inside the jug with one hand and rotate the rotor cover (at the bottom of the glass) to the left with the other hand.
  4. Washing: All mentioned parts can be washed with soapy water and rinsed.
    • Important: Do not place the jug in the dishwasher.
  5. Lime-scale: If brown spots appear on metal parts, this indicates lime-scale. Refer to the descaling instructions.

Cleaning the Water Tank:

It is recommended to clean the water tank after each steaming session.

Descaling the Water Tank:

  1. Unplug: Ensure the machine's power cord is unplugged.
  2. Open Tank: Turn the water tank cover counterclockwise to open it.
  3. Empty and Wipe: Remove any remaining water from the tank and wipe it dry with a clean cloth.
    • Caution: Do not immerse the machine in water or rinse it under running water. Clean only with a damp cloth.
  4. Solution: Mix white vinegar and drinking water in a 1:1 ratio, with a maximum mixture of 200ml.
  5. Pour: Pour the solution into the water tank.
  6. Soak: Close the water tank and let it sit for 6 hours or overnight, or until all limescale has dissolved.
  7. Discard: Pour out the used solution.
  8. Repeat (if needed): If limescale persists, repeat steps 1-5.
  9. Rinse: Rinse the water tank with clean water repeatedly until no solution remains.
  10. Final Steam: Fill the tank with 200ml of drinking water and steam for 20 minutes with the steamer jug empty. This step removes any residual vinegar.

Periodically descaling the water tank is essential for maintaining hygiene and optimal performance.
