Thoroughly rinse and chamois-off the
vehicle. Rinse chamois frequently.
Use separate chamois for painted
and glass surfaces: remnants of wax
on the windows will impair vision.
Do not use hard objects to remove
spots of tar. Use tar removal spray on
painted surfaces.

Take care when moving the
vehicle after washing, in case
water has affected the brakes.
Applying the brakes lightly will
indicate whether they have been
affected. To dry them quickly,
lightly apply the brakes while
maintaining a slow forward speed
with a clear area ahead until brake
performance returns to normal.
High pressure vehicle washes may
cause water to enter the vehicle.
Avoid using high pressure washes
closer than 30 cm to the surface of the
vehicle. Use of power washers
exceeding 8.274 kPa can result in
damage or removal of paint and
decals.

Wax the vehicle regularly (at the
latest when water no longer beads).
Otherwise, the paintwork will dry out.
Polishing is necessary only if the paint
has become dull or if solid deposits
have become attached to it.
Paintwork polish with silicone forms a
protective film, making waxing
unnecessary.
Plastic body parts must not be treated
with wax or polishing agents.

Use a soft lint-free cloth or chamois
together with the window cleaner.
When cleaning the rear window,
make sure the heating element inside
is not damaged.
For mechanical removal of ice, use a
sharp-edged ice scraper. Press the
scraper firmly against the glass so
that no dirt can get under it and
scratch the glass.
Clean smearing wiper blades with a
soft cloth and window cleaner.

Do not use high-pressure jet
cleaners.
Clean rims with a pH-neutral wheel
cleaner.
Rims are painted and can be treated
with the same agents as the body.

Rectify minor paintwork damage with
a touch-up pen before rust forms.
