How to fix a CHICAGO 60380 that won't start?
    • M
      Michelle ThomasAug 1, 2025
If your CHICAGO Power Tool won't start, it might be due to a few reasons. First, ensure the Battery Pack is properly connected by removing it, checking for obstructions, and reinserting it correctly until it locks. If that's not the issue, the Battery Pack might not be charged; make sure the Charger is connected and working, and allow sufficient time for recharging. In some cases, the Battery Pack may be burnt out and need replacement after proper disposal or recycling. Finally, internal damage or wear could be the cause, requiring a technician to service the tool.

Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and a NIOSH-approved dust mask/respirator while blowing dust out of the motor using compressed air to clear any blockages.
