Overview

This document provides the instruction manual for the ATLAS Digital Baby Monitor, a product manufactured in accordance with European Directives 2014/53/EU, 2014/30/EU, and 2001/95/EU, as well as national legislation. It emphasizes the importance of keeping the manual for future reference to ensure safe and proper use of the device.

Function Description

The ATLAS Digital Baby Monitor is designed to aid in the supervision of a baby, providing two-way communication, temperature information, and a musical player with four lullabies. It features a feeding time setting, the ability to connect up to four cameras, and a choice of suitable temperature ranges for the baby's room with an alarm function. The monitor includes a multi-language menu, automatic night vision, and VOX (Voice Operated eXchange) functionality, which activates the baby unit when sound is detected, saving power by turning off the video display when no sound is present. Users can remotely control the camera's panoramic view and recline from the monitor.

Important Warnings and Guidelines

  • Adult Supervision: The product is intended to aid adult supervision and cannot replace real, responsible adult care. Only adults should use the product, and it is not a toy for children.
  • Placement: Never place the baby unit in the baby's bed or playpen. Adaptors, parent, and baby units must always be out of the baby's reach to avoid injury or suffocation.

  • Environment: Never use the baby monitor in moist environments, close to, or immersed in water. Keep away from fire and heat sources to prevent overheating.
  • Adaptors: Use only adaptors supplied by the producer. Do not leave adaptors where a child might step on them, as this can cause damage and serious injury. Do not use damaged adaptors.
  • Interference: If using other 2.4 GHz wireless devices (telephone, video, Wi-Fi, microwave, Bluetooth) causes interference, relocate the baby unit to a greater distance until the interference disappears.
  • Modifications: Do not make changes or modifications to the product, including its electric circuit or adding electrical parts. Contact an authorized service center for advice and repair if needed.
  • Voltage Check: Before plugging in adaptors, ensure the voltage marked on the adaptor matches the local electricity network voltage to prevent damage.
  • Labels and Warnings: Do not remove labels and warnings from the product, as they are important for all users.
  • Packaging: Keep nylon packaging away from children to avoid suffocation.

Warnings for Using Lithium-Polymer Batteries

  • Charging: Only adults should plug in adaptors. Charge the battery only with adaptors provided by the producer. Never leave a charging battery unsupervised.
  • Battery Care: Do not bend, drill, or damage the battery. Do not allow short circuits. Keep the product at room temperature and do not subject it to direct sunlight.
  • Battery Replacement: Contact the retailer or an authorized service for battery replacement.
  • Disposal: Do not dispose of the product with normal household waste. Hand it over to an official waste collection point.
