DECKLID LATCH
REMOVAL
(1) Open decklid.
(2) Remove fasteners attaching decklid lining to
rear of decklid as necessary.
(3) Remove bolts attaching decklid latch to decklid
(Fig. 61), (Fig. 62) or (Fig. 63).
(4) Remove decklid latch from decklid.
(5) Disconnect power lock connector from latch
solenoid.
(6) Disconnect decklid ajar switch connector from
latch.
(7) Remove latch from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) Place latch in position on vehicle.
(2) Connect decklid ajar switch connector on latch.
(3) Connect power lock connector on latch solenoid.
(4) Place decklid latch in position on decklid.
(5) Install bolts to attach decklid latch to decklid.
(6) Adjust decklid latch for proper decklid to quar-
ter panel alignment and weatherstrip sealing.
(7) Install fasteners to attach decklid lining to rear
of decklid.
(8) Verify decklid latch operation.
DECKLID LOCK CYLINDER
REMOVAL
(1) Open decklid.
(2) Remove fasteners attaching decklid lining to
rear of decklid.
(3) Remove bolts attaching decklid latch to decklid
(Fig. 61), (Fig. 62) or (Fig. 63).
(4) Remove decklid latch from decklid.
(5) Disconnect power lock connector from latch
solenoid.
(6) Disconnect decklid ajar switch connector from
latch.
(7) Remove latch from vehicle.
