How to bore new holes?
Put the template on the door panel as shown in the
drawing.
use the Template as an indication to mark the centre of
the circle on the door face and the centre of the door
edge.
Use the marks as a guide to drill holes
Drill the striker plate & strike box hole
a. Close the door, mark the top and bottom ends of the lock edges on the door frame, and draw a
centerline.
b. mark and drill a 1’’x4/5’’ (27x20mm) hole for striking plate box, with depth of 1’’(25.4mm).
c. Mark and drill a 2-6/24’’x1’’(58x25.4mm) hole for striking plate.
d. Fix striking plate box and striking plate with 2pcs 3/4’’ (19mm) screw.
