Battery Compartment Access
• The combination seat deck /
battery compartment cover
pivots upward to provide
access to the battery com-
partment.
The cover latch is located just
above the floor board in the
center of the cover.
Release the compartment
latch and lift the battery cover
backwards. Gas springs are installed to hold the compart-
ment in the raised position.
Make sure that the locking lever locks back into place
properly when the cover is closed, and that the battery
cables are not trapped.
Battery connector
• When inserting the battery
connector, ensure that the
battery cables remain free.
