You must be trained and authorized to operate a Tow Tractor.
10. Make sure correct tire pressures are maintained.
11. Before driving over a dockboard or bridge plate, make sure it is correctly
secured. Drive carefully and slowly across the dockboard or bridge plate,
and never exceed its rated capacity.
12. Do not run over objects on the traveled surface.
13. Use special care when operating on ramps - travel slowly, and do not
angle or turn.
14. If a tractor must be parked on an incline, put chocks at the wheels.
15. Observe applicable traffic regulations and YEILD the right-of-way to
pedestrians. Slow down and sound horn at cross aisles and wherever vision
is obstructed.
16. Make a report of all accidents involving personnel, building structures
and equipment to the correct authority.
17. Before getting off the tractor, neutralize the travel control and set the
parking brake. When leaving the tractor unattended, turn the ignition switch
Off.
