4. Move the On / Off switch (13) to position I. Steam begins to emerge from the
attachment.
5. Allow the attachment to glide slowly over the surface to be cleaned.
6. After use, move the On / Off switch to position 0 and pull the mains plug out of the
plug socket.
After Use
1. If necessary, pull the water tank (11) out of the main unit (5) and empty it fully after
each use.
2. Allow the device and accessories to cool down completely and then clean them.

Cleaning the Device
PLEASE NOTE!
■ Do not use any solvents, aggressive cleaning agents or cleaning pads for cleaning.
They could damage the device.
■ The attachments are not machine-washable, dishwasher-safe or suitable for tumble
drying! Only ever allow them to dry in the air!
• Wash the fl oor cloth (15) and / or the microfi bre cloth (17) in accordance with the
instructions on the washing label. Do not use any fabric softener or bleach! Wash
separately or with the same colours!
• Rinse the attachments with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent if necessary.
Allow them to dry in the air.
• Wipe down the main unit (5), handle rod (3) and the cleaning foot (9) with a soft,
slightly damp cloth if necessary and then dry with a soft cloth.
Storing the Device
• Turn up the upper hook for winding up the cable (2) and wind the mains cable around
the upper hook and lower hook.
• To quickly unwind the mains cable again, turn down the upper hook for winding up
the cable.
• You should store the device in a cool, dry place which is out of the reach of children
and animals.
• Before you use the device again, always check the water tank (11) for residual water,
and completely empty it if necessary.
