Spa Bath Installation and Operation Instructions

Thank you for purchasing a Clearlite Bathrooms product. We are proud to be 100% NZ owned and operated
with over 30 years experience in the bathroomware industry. We hope you enjoy your Clearlite Bathrooms
experience.
The unit that you have purchased has been designed and manufactured to the highest possible standards.
Please read and ensure that you fully understand the installation instructions and how they apply to your unit.
Bear in mind that useful old adage - “measure twice and cut once”.
Please note that prior to wrapping this product it was cleaned and polished under bright lights.
For your own peace of mind please unwrap and check the product carefully on receipt. This is a precaution to
ensure that the product has not been damaged by handling or transport. No claim will be recognised
regarding face damage to the product anytime after installation.
Whilst we at Clearlite Bathrooms take great pride in producing what we consider the best products available,
we cannot accept responsibility for damage that may occur in handling or installation.
Important Note
All Clearlite Bathrooms Spa Baths are supplied with a self-supporting wooden
frame for easy installation and have been extensively factory water tested prior
to dispatch. Please check the screw connections of the pipe work (as indicated
on the product) as these can sometimes work loose during transportation.
All Clearlite Bathrooms Spa Baths are manufactured to the highest standard and
are designed to provide maximum therapeutic benefits. As a standard feature
Clearlite Bathrooms Spa Baths are fitted with a heated pump. The heating can be
manually controlled from the safety and comfort of the bath, its function is to
maintain the water temperature, removing the need to add hot water whilst
bathing. It is not designed to heat water from cold.

Spa baths are supplied with a wooden frame, factory water tested. Check pipe connections.

Spa Bath Installation Procedure

Installation Location Requirements

Ensure adequate pump access (300mm square) and that the bath is supported and level.

Electrical Connection Guidelines

Connect pump to 240V 50HZ supply via a qualified electrician. Ensure independent power off.

Installer's Water Testing Responsibility

Water test the bath before enclosing to check for leaks and satisfactory operation.

Water Testing Procedure

Check for debris, seal pipe work, fill bath above jets, run pump for 10-15 mins, check leaks.

Acrylic Cutting and Drilling

Use fine tooth hacksaw for cuts, smooth edges. Use twist drill with oilstone for small holes.

Spa Bath Operation Guide

Initial Filling and Heater Safety

Partially fill with cold water. Heater has a safety cut-out above 50 degrees Celsius.

Electronic Touch Pad Controls

Control pump and heater via Power, Spa, and Eco Heat buttons on the touch pad.

Air Controller Adjustment

Adjust air controller to vary air intake for jet massage intensity (Hydro/Mini Jets).

Hydro Jet Operation

Adjust Hydro jet direction and water flow by turning the jet face clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Whisper Jet Operation and Removal

Whisper jets provide soothing massage. Remove cover with wire tool; refit by sliding down.

Spa Bath Combination Operation

Lumbar & Foot Mini Jet Operation

Adjust Lumbar & Foot Mini Jets by turning the jet faceplate to vary water flow.

Jet Selection Diverter Usage

Use the rim-mounted diverter to direct water flow between Lumbar/Foot jets and Whisper jets.
