Getting Started Guide

Initial Water Preparation

Fill hot tub to level, test chemistry (pH, TA, Calcium), and adjust as needed.

Setting Copper Ionization

Boost copper/silver ionization to reach target residual levels (0.2-0.4 ppm).

Bacteria Control and Sanitization

Test for bacteria, maintain low chlorine (0.6-5 ppm), and avoid bromine.

General Guidelines and Maintenance

Water Testing Routine

Regularly test water chemistry (alkalinity, pH, copper) and bacteria presence.

Sanitation and Chlorine Levels

Ensure water is bacteria-free; maintain minimum 3 ppm free chlorine.

Filter Maintenance

Clean filters every 6-8 uses and replace annually for optimal performance.

Shocking the System

Use an oxidizer (spa shock) for heavy bather loads to maintain water quality.

Phosphate and Scale Management

Manage phosphates (<100ppb) and avoid stain/scale products to protect minerals.

Usage and Warranty

System intended for moderate private use; commercial use voids warranty.

Equipment Maintenance

Copper;Silver Anode Cell

Check anode cell every 6 months; it lasts approx. 2 years. Clean or replace as needed.

Controller Cleaning

Clean controller housing with mild soap and water; avoid abrasive cleaners.

UVC Sanitizer Bulb

Replace UV bulb every 12-18 months for optimal performance.

Ozone Generator

Ozone generators wear out; replace as needed. UV and Ozone are a combined component.
