INITIAL STARTUP AND CALIBRATION WITH OPTIONAL ELECTRICAL INTERLOCK BOX
ClearWaterTechairpreparationandozonegenerationsystemCD2000isavacuumtypeandwillrequireadjustmentoftheairow
throughthesystem.OnthefrontoftheelectricalinterlockboxisaVAC/PSIgaugeandanSCFH(StandardCubicFeetperHour)
gauge. These two instruments are all that are required to keep the system operating within the correct parameters.
Theozonesystemwillnotfunctionwithoutaminimumof3”vacuumfromtheventuriinjector(duetoanelectricalvacuum
interlockrelay).Thisisasafetyfeaturedesignedtopreventtheozonegeneratorfromoperatingwithouttheinjectordrawingthegas
into the water.
Afterallthepreviouselectricalandplumbingconnectionshavebeencompleted,thesystemisreadyforstartupandcalibration.
Starting Position:
1. Waterowinginthemainline.
2. Openthevalvestotheozoneloop(ifsoequipped).
3. SwitchthemainservicedisconnectboxtotheONposition.
4. TurntheozonegeneratorONattheswitchlocatedonthefrontoftheelectricalinterlockbox.Note:Thedryershouldalready
beONasitiswiredforcontinuousoperation.Theboosterpumpandozonegeneratorshouldnowbeoperating.
5. Theinjectorcannowbeadjustedforsuction.ObservetheSCFHgaugeandadjusttheairowusingtheneedlevalveon
theSCFHgauge.Closingthisvalvewilllowertheairowandraisethevacuum.Ifproperowandvacuumcannotbe
achieved,readjustthebypassvalveontheinjectormanifolduntilyouachievetheSCFHspeciedfortheozonegeneratorbeing
installed(seechartbelow).Note: The system will only operate for 15 seconds without vacuum.
To reset the time sequence, turn the ‘ON OFF AUTO’ switch OFF and back to ON.
