What to do if my ClimateRight CR-5000-AC Air Conditioner does not start?
    • D
      Danielle EricksonAug 2, 2025
If your ClimateRight Air Conditioner doesn't start, first ensure it's fully plugged into the outlet. Check your house's fuse or circuit breaker and replace the fuse or reset the breaker if needed. If there was a power failure, the unit should restart with the settings you last used. Also, check the power cord plug for a current interrupter device and press the RESET button. If the RESET button doesn't stay engaged, stop using the air conditioner and contact a qualified service technician. Note that there's a 3-minute protective time delay to prevent compressor overload, so the unit might not start cooling immediately after being turned back on.

If your ClimateRight Air Conditioner isn't cooling as expected, make sure that curtains, blinds, or furniture aren't blocking the air vents. In Cool mode, try pressing the Decrease pad to adjust the temperature. Also, clean the air filter at least every 30 days. If the room was hot when you turned on the air conditioner, allow time for it to cool down.
